A unique site in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, the Palais d’Iéna, was first designed and built by Auguste Perret in 1937. In 1960, Paul Vimond, one of Perret’s students, extended this building on Avenue du Président Wilson.

Mellett Architects were approached by the International Chamber of Commerce to refurbish Paul Vimond’s section of the building. Our brief was to create a modern, multi-purpose office space for more than 200 people as the new headquarters of the ICC. We delivered a unique space within the Palais d’Iéna complex designed for a multinational team and an organization that receives delegations and visitors from around the world.
